Monday’s Poem: Numb by Will J. Hobbs

Staring glazed over into a mirror hoping to become enlightened in my own self worth and existence. Searching for my way around a dark room feeling nothing but hoping to find a way out. Peeling away at my own flesh hoping to develop a new layer of sensation. Unaware of the concept of pain and incapable of understanding the affection of emotion.

Where is Your Kingdom of God?

I never prescribed to the acceptance of a mediator to find my kingdom. Whatever path God would gift I imagined it would not be an earthly norm. The world religions saturated with their complex systems of angry Gods, restricted diets, forbidden wearing of clothing and Hell would not accompany my inner-journey.

What is Spiritual Faith?

Faith is not things working out for you ** faith is not converting followers to your faith ** faith is not abstinence ** faith is not abstaining from pre-martial sex, alcohol, booze or drugs, ** and faith is not the sole ownership of those who believes their faith is stronger than others.

A naked soul is never cold…

I am hiding sitting across the room staring at myself ***** in marriage with my illusions of life a purposeless spirit ***** void of attraction dark days season my smile a cocoon beast… ***** as I sit and be a spirit in darkness The Invisible Dragon
